FAQ

What equipment do you use?

We film all of our weddings with two cameras- a High Definition Sony Z1, and a second smaller camera (Canon DSLR), used for wide shots during the Ceremony and speeches. The DSLR camera is also great in situations with low lightning so is often used extensively during the evening reception.

Using two cameras allows us to cut between two different angles during the editing process, and really enhances the viewing experience.

In order to capture good quality audio during the ceremony and the speeches, we use small personal microphones, which we will attach to the jacket lapel of the Groom just before the ceremony (this will pick up the audio from both Bride & Groom), and to all speakers just before the speeches begin.

We are worried that you will be too intrusive, and we don’t want cameras in our faces all day.  Is this how it will be?

It is one of our main priorities on the day to interfere as little as possible. We very rarely stage any shots, but instead just capture the events as they happen, in a ‘fly on the wall’ style. This way of filming helps create a more natural and authentic finished film.

What will the running time be for the completed DVD?

This will vary depending on the length of your Ceremony and Speeches, and whether or not you choose to have Guest Messages and Bridal Preparations. On average the running time is in the region of one and a half hours.

How long will it take to complete the film?

Editing is a very time consuming process and on average we spend a total of 4 working days editing each wedding film. We usually complete the highlights video within a week or two, and the main video within about three weeks, but it can take a little longer than this during busy periods. In any case we absolutely guarantee to have it finished and delivered within 3 months.

Is it possible for you to stay longer than one hour after our first dance?

Coverage can be extended at an hourly rate of £75

Can I share the Highlights video my Facebook/Twitter?

Of course!

Can we choose our own songs?

Yes of course. When you make a booking with us we will send you an information form with a list of questions, including one which will ask you for a list of your favourite songs. We will then choose some of the songs from this list to go into the final film. We will also ask you which song you would like for the Highlights video.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover all venues in London, Essex, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and Kent. If you would like us to film outside of this area we are more than happy to discuss attendance, but we will have to charge a little extra.

Is there a booking fee?

We ask for a non refundable deposit of £125  to secure any booking. The outstanding balance is then split into two payments.  50% must be paid no less than two months before the wedding date.

The remaining 50% does not need to be paid until after the wedding, once the highlights video is completed.

How will you be dressed on the day?

We dress smartly in black trousers & shirt in order to blend in with the guests

How much will it cost for additional DVD’s, not included in the package price?

£18 for a boxed DVD, and £12 for an un-boxed DVD (these just come in a plastic sleeve)

Should we provide you with a meal?

Whilst this would be greatly appreciated it is of course up to you. We are perfectly happy to bring our own food with us and find somewhere to eat at an appropriate time.
